Our company was founded on March 5th in 1976 in Sultanhamam under the name of Dormeks Kumas ve Sanayi Ticaret A.S.. Our establishment aim is marketing and distribution of mens woolen fabrics. In the beginning we assumed planning, design and sales-marketing of all woolen production capacity in one of the most eminent integrated factory in Turkey.
Afterwards it was continued to work with integrated factories in Turkey which was producing woolen fabrics. It was given franchises to everywhere in Turkey to do the marketing of woolen fabrics. In the years ahead, in a result of adolescence of apparel manufacture, it was started to work with different customer profile by directing its route to ready-to-wear manufacturers.
As from 1985 in Turkey, when nobody was talking about import, we started to produce the fabrics that we were doing our own designs and production in the best woolen factories of Italy, Spain, France and England with our brand and woven selvedge as DORMEKS to do the marketing at home and abroad.
Dormeks, that started its textile life in Sultanhamam, in 15th foundation day that was in 1991, moved in Osmanbey in its own property for to be more close to its customers and serve them better.
Dormeks continues the operations by adding its experiences that gained for years and knowledge of manufacturing facilities that is in collaboration with its original design, color and quality concept.
Dormeks, that always attachs importance to Research and Development (R&D), up until now didn’t make concession of indispensable quality difference and unconditional customer satisfaction and even won’t make concession in the future.
